Five Prime Therapeutics Announces Closing of IPO

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Sept. 23, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Five Prime Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq:FPRX) (Five Prime) announced today the closing of its initial public offering of 4,800,000 shares, resulting in aggregate gross proceeds of $62.4 million, before underwriting discounts, commissions and expenses. All of such shares were sold by Five Prime at an initial offering price of $13.00 per share.

Jefferies LLC, BMO Capital Markets and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC acted as joint book-running managers and Guggenheim Securities, LLC acted as a co-manager for the offering.
