The Role 

We are seeking an Associate to join our investment team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities in the life sciences sector. Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Conducting scientific due diligence, including market assessments, preclinical and clinical data analysis, and evaluating competitive landscapes. 
• Performing financial due diligence and assessing business models. 
• Synthesizing findings and presenting recommendations to internal stakeholders. 
• Driving projects forward through transparent communication and collaboration with internal and external partners. 
• Supporting the management and strategic development of portfolio companies over time. 
• Assisting the broader team in reporting on the Fund’s activities to investors and in external meetings. 

This is a full-time position based in Stockholm. 

Who You Are 

We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should have a deep interest in the business aspects of life sciences and an ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. 

You may have one of the following backgrounds: 

• A scientific degree (e.g., medicine, biology, biochemistry, toxicology, biotechnology) with a PhD preferred. Research experience in academia or the biotech/pharma industry is a plus. A minimum of 2–3 years of work experience in a relevant industry (e.g., biotech, pharma, venture capital, life science research). 
• A business background with at least 2–3 years of working experience in investment banking, corporate finance, management consulting, or other transactional activities, preferably in the life sciences sector. Experience in biotech or pharma is a plus. 

Additional qualifications: 

• Strong analytical skills and business acumen. 
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and structured approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive decisions.  
• Willingness to travel occasionally. 
• Proficiency in the use of the English language.
